Partnerships

Personnel serving with the International Mission Board are privileged to be supported by thousands of churches who give generously and pray unceasingly for our work. But sometimes we are doubly blessed to have the additional support and encouragement fostered by partnerships with churches and associations in America. In the case of our Australia Strategy Group, we are pleased to have such a partnership with Keck Avenue Baptist Church located in Evansville, Indiana.

Keck Avenue is a church who is passionate about missions, and they are demonstrating this passion by being actively linked with us for the year 2006. "This is the first time our church has done something like this. We have always been a strong supporter of missions, but have lacked focus," states Dr. Osborne. It is their desire that this partnership will help both their church and our work here on the field.

Keck Avenue has committed to serve us in the following ways:

1. To faithfully pray for our work in Australia. Some will pray daily and others will pray weekly. Almost everyone in their church will be involved in prayer for us!
2. To try to provide material support for us. If a need arises, they will do everything possible to try to meet that need as a church.
3. To keep us abreast to what they are doing. The church will periodically send photos of their various groups involved in learning about and praying for Australia.

To the right you will see a photo of pastor Ron Osborne and his family. From the back there is Ron & Becky, Katie (12) in the red blouse, Emma (7) the blonde, Ellie (4), and William (3).
