"I would be disobeying the Lord if I stopped praying for you! "
1 Samuel 12:23
Please join us for our
Day of Prayer & Fasting
each Tuesday (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th)
| Every TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY (1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, 15th & 16th, 22nd & 23rd, 29th & 30th) pray for workers in
| • Pray for the volunteer mission team from Alabama who will be coming this month for 12 days. They will be working in several areas of Hobart to prayerwalk, share the Gospel, distribute Bibles, participate in our training groups & house churches and speak in one of our primary schools. Pray that many Australians will be able to hear the Good News!
• Pray for our trainer's retreat on July 12th. This will be a gathering of all the people we have trained in Reboot (a discipleship course) and Training Faithful Trainers. Pray that they will be encouraged to be faithful in sharing the Gospel and that they will each take the challenge of training others. • Pray for our daughter. She faithfully shares the Gospel with her friends at school and at work, and continually seeks ways to help them understand God's way of living. Pray for her as she travels this month to a gathering of many TCKs from our region. • Pray for Nathan, one of our trainers who is moving to Mexico. Having recently completed Reboot, he has a passion to reach people. He has a special place in his heart for youth. Pray that God will open many doors of opportunity for him to make disciples! |
| Every THURSDAY and FRIDAY (3rd & 4th, 10th & 11th, 17th & 18th, 24th & 25th & 31st) pray for workers in
| • During our time in Pigeon Hole Aboriginal Community, four Aboriginal men and women accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Please continue to pray for their spiritual growth and their desire to be baptized in the coming months.
• We praise God for the freedom we have in this country to share the Good News of salvation. Pray continually for the Australian Aborigines as they are in need of the one true Hope. Pray that we may effectively communicate the Gospel and that more Aborigines will hear and respond to the love and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. • Eve B., an Aboriginal woman from Geyulkgan Ngurra Aboriginal Community (formerly the Warlpiri Camp) had an opportunity to share her faith with a husband and wife who practice witchcraft while visiting the community. While she shared, her friend Marjorie G. prayed earnestly that her words of faith in Jesus Christ would penetrate the darkness and bondage of this witchcraft. Praise God, the wife was convicted and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior! Pray that this wife will now be able to bear witness to her still unbelieving husband and speak boldly the truth of the Bible. |
| Every SATURDAY and SUNDAY (5th & 6th, 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th, 26th & 27th) pray for workers in
| • Please continue to pray that Godly workers and leaders will hear and respond to the call to lead His Church here in Australia – this a great need at this time.
• Pray that the Lord will bring about a breakthrough at the Soul Food Expresso Café. Pray to see opportunities to share the Good News through a parenting class that will be started this month at the café. There will be three families participating. • Please continue to pray for the young people of Australia between the ages of 16 to 25 years as they struggle with the pressures of binge drinking here in Australia. Pray that God will raise up Godly young people with a strong faith to make a difference in this segment of Australian society. • The 19 summer student interns who arrived at the end of May are halfway through their assignments in the Task. By all reports, most have settled in well and are immersing themselves in the culture and lives of those they are coming into contact with. Please pray for their continuing effectiveness in sharing their faith boldly and plainly to those God brings into their lives. • Please pray for Cathy, Amanda and Miranda – that these women will effectively and boldly share their love of Christ with the mothers of a growing playgroup in a southern suburb of Adelaide. • Pray for Ken as he continues to be a profound witness for Christ in his own life, especially among those who struggle with the addiction of alcohol in their lives. |
| Every MONDAY (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th) pray for workers in
| • Pray for a Cousin woman with whom we were able to finish reading a book called “A Case for Easter”. Pray that God will continue to bring her into contact with people who will share Christ’s love and His story so she can respond to Him.
• Pray, in a concert of prayer, that we will be able to secure visas for a new family to come work with the more than 200,000 plus Cousins here in Australia. Pray for this family as they settle into the work, a new home, a new culture and immerse themselves in the Task He’s brought them here to do. We praise God for the provision of bringing these colleagues to Australia. |
Please feel free to share this prayer calendar with friends, family members, and churches.
